Our Lapsang Souchong uses raw materials from large-leaf tea trees, which are old and grown in superior environments.
What this tea takes the most pride in is its unique "smoking" process. After withering, the tea leaves are placed into drying rooms with fired pine wood, allowing the tea to ferment slowly under the influence of pine smoke.
The aroma of pine wood seeps into every tea leaf, creating Lapsang Souchong’s unique smoky longan scent. This craft, inherited for over four hundred years, is still manually carried out by the tea farmers of Tongmuguan today. Each tea leaf bears the skill of the artisan and the weight of time.
The tea is rich in compounds and has a strong, full-bodied taste. It gives a satisfying and fulfilling flavor experience.
