In Wuyi Highlands, our ecological shui xian bushes are not neatly arranged, but scattered among moss-covered boulders. Their roots are deeply embedded in the rocks, absorbing iron, zinc, and other minerals from the ground. There are no pesticides or chemical fertilizers used. Only moss, ferns, and the wild leaves that slowly decay and nourish the soil.
Tasting notes:
Steep 1 (15 seconds): Pale amber in color, with delicate and subtle orchid scent and a hint of sweet pear flavor.
Steep 2 (20 seconds): The tea awakens. The scent of the rocks begins to emerge, with cool mineral notes at the bottom, and baked apples, brown sugar, and a faint osmanthus scent on top.
Steep 5 (30 seconds): As the fruit aroma fades, the core of the rock emerges. There is a lingering aftertaste of old wood and dried longan.
Texture: Thick and velvet-like, which envelops the tongue.
Endurance: It can reach up to nine steeps. The fragrance never dissipates, and the tea still retains a sweet and clear flavor even at the end.
How to brew: Use 8.3 grams of tea with 110 milliliters of boiling water. After quickly moistening the tea, steep for 10-15 seconds first, then add 5 seconds for each infusion.
