From deep in the heart of our "flower garden," our shui xian trees have stood for 60 years. After six decades of fog, frost, and sunlight, they have absorbed the mineral essence of the rocks themselves.
Aroma: There's a distinct woody aroma, often described as a blend of ancient wood, bamboo leaves, and mossy stones. Underneath is a delicate scent of orchids that permeates the entire cup.
Tasting Notes: The initial steeps are strong and rich in minerals. By the third to fifth steeps, the aroma of "old shrubs" fully emerges. By the eighth cup, the fragrance remains while offering a refreshing sensation that stays in the throat.
Texture: Rich and smooth with a silky smooth texture that's almost creamy.
Endurance: 10-12 steeps
How to brew: This tea is resilient. Use boiling water (100°C) with short steeps. Watch how the leaves reveal their characteristics over 10 to 12 steeping cycles, showcasing new profiles with each steep.
